Membership:
Club membership for 2012 is now available! We hope to see everyone who signed up with us in 2011 back again (over 100 of ye!) and hopefully there will be a few new faces as well. Members are now able to pay for their club membership on the Triathlon Ireland website while they take out their 2012 T.I. membership. Charity Event:
On Saturday the 10th December is the 5km Kilkenny Santa Fun Run in aid of The Kilkenny Branch of the Irish Association for Autism. This proved to be a great hit last year and we hope to see as many KTC Members as possible there on the day! 2012 Committee:
If anybody would like to become a committee member in 2012, or would like to nominate themselves for a officers position, please can you let me know before 31st December 2011. This way we can form a new committee if needs be, by early 2012.

Training Tips:
We have teamed up with online triathlon website Intelligent-Triathlon-Training.com to get articles sent through especially for KTC! Awards Night:
Our first ever Awards Night will take place in the Upstairs Bar in the Left Bank on Saturday the 10th Dec beginning at 19:30 with the awards being handed out at 20:00. We will then kick straight into our Xmas Social Night and get the drinks flowing. Hopefully this should be a good night out so it would be great if as many members could make it as possible.

Training:
Our Winter Training Schedule continues, with the focus at the moment on running with sessions on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. Check out our training page for all the info on our training - http://kilkennytriathlonclub.com/training-and-events/training

Marble City Cyclers:
Congrats to our good friends The Marble City Cyclers, who successfully ran their Festive Fifty charity event last weekend, raising over €1000 for the Irish Wheelchair Association. A big thank you is given by MCC to all KTC Members who turned up on the day to help support the event!

International Athlete:
Drum roll please..........Kilkenny Triathlon Club is pleased to announce that we will have a club colleague representing Ireland at the European Triathlon Championships in Isreal in April 2012. Eoin Molloy has been selected to represent Ireland in the sprint distance championships. Not bad for someone who took up triathlon just over 2 years ago. For those of you who dont know Eoin, he is our club secretary (and will also be the one standing in the corner minding himself because he's in training while the rest of us are partying in the off season at the Christmas party!!!)
