Hi all,

Triathlon Ireland have announced their full list of races for the National Series 2012. Our members performed brilliantly in the National Series events last year, helping the club to finish 11th out of over 60 Tri clubs in Ireland, a great achievement for a club in its first year. 35 of our club members took part in various National Series events throughout the year.

Joya Burns was top ranked female KTC member for the year, while Brendan McCarthy took top spot amongst the KTC men, finishing in a hugely creditable 70th position overall in the full rankings and 7th in his age category, 40-44 year olds. A further notable achievement was the great season by Colm Murray in the National Series, seeing him finish 76th overall and 6th in his age category (45-49 year olds). 

We hope to see all of our members taking part in more National Series events in 2012 to help move the club higher up the rankings and for our 2012 KTC Female and Male Athletes of the year we will be judging baced on placings on the National Series rankings!
