Kilkenny Triathlon Club would like to let you all know about a  charity fitness challenge happening in Ormonde Hotel 26th February with proceeds going to a very worthy local cause. Please read the following article from the Kilkenny Advertiser:

Kilkenny Ormonde Leisure host challenge in aid of Sive McDonald

When little baby Sive McDonald was born at only 23 weeks and six days, weighing less than a pound, her chances of survival were close to zero.

However due to the love and care little Sive received at the hands of the staff at Waterford Regional Hospital she grew from strength to strength each day.

Sive’s parents Johnny and Ashling are now thankful for all the hard work the hospital put into Sive’s recovery and now they want to thank them by raising much- needed funds for an incubator at Waterford Regional Hospital.

The McDonalds with help from the Ormonde Hotel have launched a Charity Challenge in aid of the Sive McDonald Neonatal Fund. The challenge promises to be a great family day of fun for children and adults with a big raffle also taking place. The challenge will take place on Saturday, February 26 at the Ormonde Leisure club.
